William Shakespeare was born the 23 april 1564 in Stratford, England. His mom’s name was Mary and the dad’s name was John. William was very interested of theatre when he was young and that ended in huge succsess when he grew up. He was young when he got married, only 18 years old. The girl’s name was Anne Hathaway and she was 26 years old. His parents didn’t like that he got married to an 8 year older women. They had three children together. William cheated on Anne often, with men and woman so it is very possible that he had more than three children. He was a talent writer and actor. When he was about 30 years old he wrote the world’s most famous love-play, Romeo and Juliet. He also wrote Hamlet, Macbeath and King Lear. They are well known all over the world.

Romeo and Juliet is about two children who fall in love in a difficult situation between their parents. The two families hate each other. Romeo and Juliet can’t be together but they are in love. In the end they die, Juliet takes a pretend-poison and Romeo think’s she’s dead for real, so he kills himself. When she wakes up and sees that he’s dead she takes his knife and stabs herself in the chest. It’s a tragedy, a typical tragedy.


Shakespeare owned a theatre, The globe. The Globe burned down in 1613, William was 49 years old when the accident happened. They were shooting a cannon shot wrong, so it hit the roof. The roof was made of straw so it burned down fast and easy. The theatre was rebuilt 383 years later. William died when he was 52 years old. His wife inherited a bed. The second best bed was the only thing she got after his death.

Machu Picchu is a fascinating city. It was built by the Incas at the 15th century, as a place to live on. It was a city with room for 750 people. There is 206 ordinary houses.It was a city for the court, with a palace and a temple.

Macu Piccu is a city built on a mountain, the Andes, in Peru. The land shape is beautiful. It’s hard to get up on the mountain, and that is why the Incas chose just that place. It lies 500 metres over the ground and was a good protect against enemies. They could be alone up there.

The Incas left the city at 1532. There are some different stories about if the Spaniards knew that the city existed or not. The city is well preserved, perhaps of the reason that no one were aware of Machu Picchu. If no one knew about it’s existence, no one would go up 500 metres and believe they could find anything. Thereby no plunder. It was actually “discovered” by a American archaeologist 1911. He examined the mountains and found a city.  

It’s a huge income for Peru. About 400 000 people go there every year to look at the prehistoric city. It is difficult to get up, the terrain is not very friendly, but it doesn’t stop everybody. They throw garbage and destroy the ground by walking on the (moss?). Archaeologists and other culture-interested persons are afraid that Machu Piccchu will be destroyed because of all the tourists. There is also a risk that grave robbers will find something interesting before a professional archaeologist finds it.  

The word ‘Machu Picchu’ is old Indian language and means ‘The old litter’.
The most common way to get to Machu Picchu is by walking. You have to pay 50 dollar and have an experienced guide. It takes about four days. You can have a carrier, a boy that carries your bag, water and food. The trail is very well known.

Koncentrationsläger

Det är fel att behandla judar annorlunda! Alla människor är lika mycket värda. Kristna, buddister, muslimer, judar och hinduer; alla är människor! Många helt oskyldiga familjer dör och hungrar i koncentrationslägren. Vi som hade kunnat sätta stopp för det fasansfulla människoplågeriet står bara handlingsförlamade vid sidan av. Hur skulle du känna om några känslokalla män slet upp dig mitt i natten och förde dig och din familj till ett koncentrationsläger? Nazisterna är fega då judarna inte har tillgång till samma vapen eller kunskap om krig. De är dessutom färre, det blir som ‘alla mot en!’.
Tyskland förlorar viktig arbetskraft i och med judeförbudet. Många av landets bästa läkare, handelsmän och advokater är judar, de skulle vara väl till pass i krigstider. Judarna har också mycket kunskap, både om förflutet och moderniteter. Tyskland hade kunnat lära sig av dem, vi hade kunnat bli ett välutbildat folk och kanske rentav vinna kriget. Nu  gräver vi vår egen grav. Varje dag anländer ca. 3000 judar till Auschwitz, vissa får jobba tills de dör, andra gasas ihjäl direkt. Jag förstår inte hur någon människa ens kan tänka på detta utan att kräkas, än mindre förstår jag dem som tycker att det är rätt åt de stackars människorna.
Argumentet till att man plågar just judarna lyder såhär: “De dödade Jesus! De har förpestat tillvaron för kristna i alla tider! Det är dags att ge igen!”. Kan man verkligen anklagas för vad ens farfäder gjorde? Hur ska en fyrtioåring kunna bli straffad för vad som hände på Jesus tid? Jag tycker inte att argumentet håller för att ha ihjäl miljontals människor. Man kan  heller inte straffa dem för att många är framgångsrika och högutbildade, då bidrar de ju till ett välutvecklat land! Nej, nazisterna vill bara ha en hackkyckling och föra samman de kristna. Förbjud koncentrationsläger innan det är försent!
